The gear lever leaves its mechanical function behind to become a porcelain sculpture. Modelled by Antoine Tauvel from the fingerprint of his wife Cécile, it preserves the memory of a human gesture frozen in an eternal material.

Produced by the Ateliers Arquié, this creation exists in several interchangeable versions: a brilliantly pure white enamel, a version whose indentations are illuminated by deep Sèvres blue and a version enhanced with gold. Their spherical shape evokes both a planet and a pebble polished by time.

A fourth version, left as unglazed porcelain biscuit, diffuses the Senteur d'Orion fragrance, created especially for Astre Mobile. Changing gears thus becomes a sensory experience where touch, material and scent meet in a single gesture.
