Maison Lacmé

Maison Lacmé is a design studio founded by Cécile and Antoine Tauvel. It transforms familiar objects into works of art through fine craftsmanship, in order to restore the power of wonder to everyday life.

Every creation is born from the encounter between an artistic vision and exceptional craftsmanship. By revealing the poetic potential of everyday objects, Maison Lacmé creates works where art, design and the crafts become indistinguishable.

Maison Lacmé collaborates with collectors, interior designers, cultural institutions, foundations and luxury houses.

Astre Mobile is Maison Lacmé's first work and the first expression of its artistic approach.

Antoine TAUVEL

Antoine Tauvel is the Artistic Director of Maison Lacmé. He imagines each Maison Lacmé creation through drawing, formal research, models and prototypes. These initial explorations define the language of each piece before coming to life through dialogue with exceptional craftspeople.

His work explores the poetic metamorphosis of everyday objects. Through Maison Lacmé, he seeks less to create new objects than to reveal new ways of looking at them.

Cécile TAUVEL

Cécile develops the transmission and storytelling dimension of Maison Lacmé. She designs formats that are accessible to all: exhibitions, workshops, editorial content and podcasts. She is the creator of Pop in!, a podcast with over 130 episodes that explores the way passion, art, design and fine craft brighten up our daily lives.
