The Lacmé House Notebooks

Welcome to the Lacmé House Notebooks, a space dedicated to fine craft, contemporary creation and the meeting of know-how and utility.

Maison Lacmé was born from a conviction: to reveal the richness of fine craftsmanship through the co-creation of unique works, designed using exceptional materials and techniques. We create pieces conceived to enter into dialogue with spaces and the people who inhabit them.

Through these pages, we share the behind-the-scenes of this approach: articles on exhibitions, perspectives on creation, meetings with art craftspeople, as well as echoes of our podcast Pop in. Each piece of content extends the intention of making visible what lies behind matter, time and the hand.

These Notebooks also accompany our first major co-creation project, currently underway with around ten art craftspeople, which will be unveiled during Paris Design Week in September 2026.

Why these Notebooks?
To document, pass on and open up perspectives around fine craftsmanship today. Here, it is not merely a matter of showing, but of understanding, connecting and offering a different view.
