Beneath the gear knob, the heater housing reveals a photogravure made from a macrophotograph of a 4.6-billion-year-old meteorite, captured by Antoine Tauvel. The engraving of Fanny Boucher is enhanced by delicate leaf gilding executed by Lise Richardot.

The crystalline lines of the meteorite compose an abstract landscape where geometry, light and matter converse. Depending on the angle of view, the plaque evokes as much a contemporary work of art as a fragment of the cosmos.

Entirely removable, this plate also serves as a printing matrix to create a limited series of seven prints. The automotive element is thus transformed into a graphic work of art, extending Astre Mobile beyond the vehicle.
