Maison Lacmé Founded in 2024 by Cécile and Antoine Tauvel, Maison Lacmé is a creative studio where design, fine craftsmanship, and narrative converge to bring exceptional pieces to life. Envisioned as a maison d’auteurs, the studio creates works that transcend established categories. Whether furniture, functional sculpture, installation, or collectible object: each creation is designed as a presence capable of revealing a space, transforming an everyday gesture, and sparking wonder. Astre Mobile stands as the first manifesto piece of this global approach.
Antoine Tauvel — Artistic Director Antoine Tauvel conceives pieces where drawing, material, and space unite to tell a story. From initial sketches to scale models and preparatory sculptures, he designs each project as a cohesive whole, defining its plastic identity, materials, and staging. Guided by a constant search for poetry, simplicity, and precision, he orchestrates the dialogue with master craftspeople, ensuring that each distinct skill integrates fluidly and cohesively into the overall creation.
Cécile Tauvel — Director of Relations & Mediation Cécile Tauvel guides each project from its genesis to its ultimate transmission. She weaves the essential bonds connecting collectors, interior designers, institutions, luxury brands, and master craftspeople. Convinced that an artwork extends through the encounters it inspires, she designs the pathways that open the studio’s world to the public through exhibitions, publications, and mediation projects. Through her podcast Pop in !, dedicated to the artistic gesture, she highlights and promotes the unique savoir-faire that nurtures the studio’s creations.
